ABOUT US TODAY

The Moriah Foundation exists for people who are looking for more.
In life's journey we have a variety of moments, where we may feel there must be something more.
We would like to get a fresh perspective.
At other times in the journey, we hit greater crisis and need more direct assistance.
Whether a fresh life-perspective is what you need, or more direct and intensive assistance, you can interface with The Moriah Foundation through a variety of options.

The Moriah Foundation provides teaching, training and counseling services, through a ‘come-as-you-are’ environment.

We pursue many different aspects of life’s journey.
We believe in a journey of inner-healing that produces outward lifestyle change.

RENEWAL

RENEWAL Gatherings currently take place twice per month on the 1st and 3rd Saturday mornings.
Topics include a diverse range of topics across the spectrum of life's journey.

We look at the past, present and future and how our perspective of each effects our mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

SERVICES

•RENEWAL Gatherings

Open to everyone. Check us out in person or through our live stream.
[4:30pm - 6:00pm Central Time Zone]

This is a great way to see what you think and whether we are a good fit. Just remember . . . our topic line-up is very diverse, so you might need to give it a few times to get the full picture.

•Classes

Generally, we operate our classes on a trimester bases, providing three classes per calendar year; one in the spring, one in the summer and one in the fall. Visit our current classes page to see what we are focusing on right now (or are getting ready to). A list of past classes can be viewed in the Transformation Groups section of this page.

•Support Groups

Support Group are generally provided on a trimester bases, similar to our classes. Support groups are topic-specific and provide an additional level of care, which our general classes may not offer.

•Individual Care

The Moriah Foundation has several professional counselors who meet one-on-one for individual counseling.

•Referral

We know that we do not have the ability or capacity to handle every type of concern that people have. Sometimes the need is specific and specialized care is most appropriate. Sometimes there may be more of a medical component, or may require medications. If this is the case, we will do our best to provide some guidance for a referral. Please know, however, we do not always have a referral solution for specific situations. We appreciate your understanding on that point.

TRAINING

The Moriah Foundation’s training program provides training for the regular and ordinary person to become a 'skilled people helper'.

The current training program has been designed based upon 20 years of observation and feedback. It is carried out through an Apprenticeship Format. This Apprenticeship Format consists of two, three-month intensive studies (September - November & February - April) and applied co-facilitation.

The fall sessions focus on integrating faith and psychological principles with the development of a healing-theory. The spring sessions include both class sessions and co-facilitation of groups. Class focus is on integrating healing-theory with practical application into the lives others.

Each set of class sessions last nine-twelve weeks each.
